At Old Courts our service is personal, we understand that pets don’t just get ill during normal surgery hours. As a client of the practice you can be certain that if your pet has an emergency, day or night, your family vet is only a phone call away. No contracting out for us!
If you have an emergency, you can call to speak to a Vet for advice and, for cases requiring immediate care you can arrange to see a Veterinary Surgeon in Brigg who will be familiar to you and your pet.
Our purpose built centre is ready to deal with a wide range of emergencies including, pets hit by vehicles, collapses, poisoning and heat stress.
The emergency service that we offer for our clients is substantially cheaper than our competitors, one of the many benefits of being a client of Old Courts Vets.
If you do require the services of the emergency out of hours please ring our usual practice number 01652 653 224 and listen to the answer phone message which will direct you to the number of the duty vet.
Your family vet will be waiting to help you, whatever time of the night.
Repeat Prescriptions are provided, where appropriate, following consultation with your Veterinary Surgeon. Prescriptions that are considered POM-V (Prescription Only Medicines- Veterinary) can only be dispensed by a Veterinary Surgeon for animals under their care.
Animals on a repeat prescription(s) must be examined at least every six months.
We ask that you allow us 1 working day in which to prepare your medication before collection.
Written Prescriptions are available on request where appropriate should you not wish to receive your prescription from us.
